A Song that Reminds You of Someone
This song reminds me of my brother Jeremy because the summer before Jeremy's mission, every night the two of us used to roll down all the windows of Pierre (my first car-a 1990 Lexus LS400) and open the sunroof and drive around those backroads, never exceeding 25 mph, and listen to Jack Johnson. This was my favorite song, and it always reminds me of looking at the stars through the sunroof and talking to Jeremy about pretty much anything. Every time I hear this song, I get really excited for when Jeremy comes home. Eight more months! :D Jack Johnson-ConstellationsA Song that Reminds You of Somewhere
This song reminds me of the Kennecott Fun Run in Deadhorse, Alaska. I listened to this album because it kept me pumped despite the fact I was running in freezing cold rain with icebergs in the arctic ocean next to me. Foreigner-Hot Blooded
A Song that Reminds You of a Certain Event
This song always reminds me of the cross country mud run my sophomore year. That was the place I was introduced to this song, and I've really liked it ever since, even though it's now associated with sandy, wet clothes and paint. :) The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus-Your Guardian Angel
I would also like to pay a quick tribute to my dear Pierre (my friend mentioned earlier in this post.) Sadly, the winter after the aforementioned summer, Pierre passed on. His transmission, heater, computer system, and who knows what else finally gave out. I was very reluctant to let go of my poor, dying friend, but I was finally forced to accept the loss after being broken down on the side of the road a few too many times. RIP Pierre. You were a great friend and accompanied me on many an adventure!
